Our
Story
An 80-Year Legacy of Excellence
In the early 1940s, our visionary co-founders, T.K. Oommen and T.K. Alexander, saw a rare opportunity to acquire plantation land from British planters who were departing India during the independence movement. With minimal capital and limited time to act, the brothers sought an innovative path forward.

Determined to find a solution, they turned to joint stock exchanges and secured financial backing from a leading brokerage in Madras, Tamil Nadu. This strategic partnership provided the necessary funds to acquire 15,000 acres across Tamil Nadu and Kerala, allowing them to establish public limited companies while maintaining controlling interest.

By 1946, The Siruvani Group Estates were officially founded, marking the brothers’ transformation into successful property owners and business leaders. Their perseverance and foresight laid the foundation for a legacy that continues to thrive.

Today, our estates span 1,500 acres of pristine land in the Attapadi Hills, cultivating premium coffee, tea, cardamom, and pepper. Nestled within the breathtaking Western Ghats of Kerala, our estates flourish at elevations ranging from 3,000 to 5,200 feet. The tributaries of the Bhavani River wind through our estate, enriching the land and infusing our crops with the essence of their natural surroundings.
"We are committed to bringing the gifts of nature in its freshest and finest state to our customers. Our passion is to run this boutique estate with unwavering respect to our environment, our animals and birds, our workers and their families, and the tribal communities around us."
