Estates
Situated in the heart of South India, our estates span over 1,200 acres, divided into carefully managed divisions where we cultivate premium tea, coffee, cardamom, and pepper. For over 80 years, our family-run business has been dedicated to sustainable farming, ensuring that our land thrives for generations to come.
We are dedicated to remaining a premier boutique estate, committed to consistent quality over quantity. Every leaf, bean, and fruit is grown, hand-picked, and processed with meticulous care, preserving the rich traditions of South Indian agriculture. As we look to the future, we remain devoted to serving South India with the same passion that has defined us for decades.

Harvesting our Crops with Care
Our estate is managed by career planters with decades of collective experience and intimate knowledge of the climate, elevation and terrain in the Western Ghats. Over the decades we have strategically organized our fields and placed our crops in areas optimal to maximize output.

As the crops grow to maturity they are carefully harvested at peak ripeness, a skill that can only be described as an art form, ensuring only the finest leaves, beans, and spices are selected. This approach, combined with our experienced planters’ expertise, preserves the signature flavor and freshness consistent in all our products.

We often offer work for spouses and provide daycare and early schooling for those with young children. As a result, many of our employees have been with us for decades.

We also serve as champions of the local tribal communities, the Adivasis of Kerala, by fostering growth and opportunity while preserving their cultural heritage.

Commitment to Sustainability
Sustainability isn’t just a practice for us—it’s a way of life. Our estate thrives in harmony with nature, where elephants, birds, deer, and other wildlife roam freely under our long-standing commitment to never harm them. We are also firmly against deforestation. We adhere to our policy by carefully trimming branches to regulate sunlight for our crops instead of cutting down trees. Finally, every leaf, bean, and spice is nurtured with minimal pesticide use, ensuring quality while preserving the ecosystem.

Our dedication extends to clean energy, with windmills on our estate helping to reduce our carbon footprint. The Bhavani River also flows through our land, providing fresh, drinkable water that nutrifies both our crops and our community. We believe that when we respect the land, it rewards us with the highest quality crops. Through responsible, time-honored farming, we are dedicated to sustaining both our local environment and our global one.
